Fees and Payment

Fees and Payment

At Johnston Institute, we are committed to making our fee structure clear, transparent, and fair for all students.

Types of Fees

  • Tuition Fees – charged by unit each semester and payable by the published due dates.

  • Ancillary Fees – administrative fees such as application fees, late payment charges, replacement documents, or ID cards.

  • Other Costs – course-related expenses such as textbooks, equipment, or living costs (these are not charged by the Institute but may be required for study).

Publication of Fees

  • All fees are published in Australian dollars (AUD) on our website at least six months before the start of the academic year.

  • Fees are also included in your Offer of Admission so you know exactly what you need to pay before enrolling.

  • Tuition fees may be reviewed annually and can apply to both new and continuing students.

Payment of Fees

  • Students receive an itemised invoice each semester.

  • All fees must be paid upfront by the due date in your invoice.

  • Payments must be made electronically in AUD to Johnston Institute’s nominated bank account.

  • A receipt will be issued once payment is received.

Non-Payment of Fees

Students who do not pay by the due date will receive a formal notice and may risk cancellation of enrolment.

Refunds and Credits

Johnston Institute offers refunds in line with the Student Fees and Refunds Policy and applicable regulations. Refund entitlements vary depending on whether you are a domestic or international offshore student and the timing of your withdrawal, deferral, or cancellation.

For detailed information, please refer to the Student Fees and Refunds Policy .
